Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 23, 2026
Please read carefully
This Privacy Policy explains how Nuture collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use the app, website, and related services. We use your information to operate the marketplace, process bookings and payments, support AI features, and keep the Service secure.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Nuture. Some data is provided directly by you, some is collected automatically, and some comes from third-party services you choose to use.
• Account details such as your name, email address, phone number, password or account credentials, profile photo, role, language, and account preferences.
• Profile and professional details such as location, bio, specialties, categories, credentials, availability, service descriptions, pricing, and other information you choose to add.
• Booking and payment data such as appointment details, transaction status, platform fees, payout information, and limited payment records. Full card details are handled by Stripe or the relevant payment provider, not stored by us.
• Communications and content such as messages, reviews, feed posts, stories, photos, videos, AI scan images, AI prompts, scan history, and call or chat metadata.
• Device and usage data such as IP address, device identifiers, app activity, crash logs, timestamps, and approximate location or location-related data when you enable location features.
• Information from third parties such as Google sign-in, Stripe, Supabase, app stores, Agora, and mapping or location providers you use through the Service.
2. How we use your information
• Create and manage your account, authenticate you, and keep your profile current.
• Match users with professionals, schedule appointments, send reminders, and show booking status.
• Process payments, refunds, commissions, payouts, subscriptions, and identity or compliance checks.
• Provide chat, call, feed, story, and AI-assisted wellness features.
• Detect fraud, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, support customers, and improve the Service.
• Send service messages, security notices, and other communications related to your account.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only when needed to operate the Service, comply with law, or support the transactions you choose to make. We do not sell your personal information.
• With professionals, clients, or other users who need the information to complete a booking, message thread, review, feed interaction, or call.
• With Stripe so we can process payments, onboarding, connected accounts, identity checks, and related marketplace features. Stripe may collect identity details and documents for verification and compliance.
• With Supabase and other cloud providers that host our database, storage, authentication, and backend services.
• With Google, Agora, mapping providers, app stores, or other integrations you use through the Service.
• When we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect users, investigate fraud, or defend legal claims.
4. AI features and sensitive information
If you use the AI scanner or submit health-related text or images, that information may be sensitive. We use it to generate scan history, recommendations, summaries, or related features you request.
AI features may process your content through third-party AI providers and may store prompts, outputs, and scan metadata so the Service can show your history, improve features, and maintain safety. AI results are not a medical diagnosis and should not replace a licensed professional.
5. Payments and Stripe
Payments for bookings and some paid features are processed by Stripe or another approved payment processor. We typically receive only the information we need to confirm payment status, manage the booking flow, and issue payouts to professionals.
If you are a professional, Stripe may collect and verify contact details, business or identity information, and identity documents as part of Connect onboarding and compliance. That information is handled under Stripe’s own privacy practices in addition to ours.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with tax and legal requirements, maintain security, and support legitimate business needs. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and how you use the Service.
7. Your choices and rights
• You can usually review, update, or correct profile information in the app.
• You may request deletion of your account or specific data, subject to legal, security, dispute, or backup retention requirements.
• You can manage notification settings and, where available, disconnect third-party sign-in or payment connections.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your data.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and professional or payout features are intended for adults or the age of majority required in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child provided us with personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. International transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than the one where you live because we use global providers such as Stripe, Supabase, Google, and Agora. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your home country.
